Turks & Frogs
This past weekend, we ate at Turks & Frogs, which is located 458 Greenwich Street, New York. We were looking for good food with a fun atmosphere. We were disappointed.
The grilled octopus salad was excellent. But unfortunately, it was all downhill from there. The lamb kebabs were tough and the cornish hen was extremely bland. I also tried the Turkish beer which was adequate but clearly not of the same quality as Peroni.
On the atmosphere front (which as you can remember is of less importance than the food), Turks & Frogs got it right. they had this great back room with a chandelier. It created this great feel especially with the red tablecloth.
But once again the food was marginal at best so I rate it as a pass.
