When Will Steve Get Divorced?
I have a friend who is in the process of getting divorced from his wife. This started about 4 years ago. Boy has the world changed in those 4 years. We have a new president who won the Nobel Peace Prize (we do not know exactly why but that is another story). The Mets are still bad (but that is not really a change).
But more importantly is how long does it take to get divorced. I understand dealing with splitting assets and child custody but after four years there probably is not that much money left (especially with two sets of lawyers billing for each court date). The kids are now teenagers and do not even want to talk the parents. So who wants them now.
But being the betting man that I am, I want to know how long it will take for Steve to be a Divorcee. Actually the woman are the ones who really want to know because they need to mark their calendars and arrange to move out of town.
The current best guess is 5 years from intiation which would be February 1, 2010. Any insight would be appreciated.
