Groovejob.com

I decided to take a look at the various job boards around and see what value they add.  The first I am taking a quick look is GrooveJob.com.  On its site, GrooveJob describes itself as the nations leading site for candidates around the country seeking part-time, hourly and seasonal employment opportunities. I do not know about that but let's start there.

According to their traffic, they have 214,000 uniques each month which is slightly less than the 4.6 million uniques that Snagajob.com receives each month.  But on the user profile side, they do reach the people that they are targeting.  About two thirds of their users are less than 30.

They match jobs with candidates based upon geographic location.  Some of their jobs are selling Cutco knives for Vector Marketing, which seems appropriate for its audience base.

As you would expect they do some social media relationships like a twitter account and a page on ehow (http://www.ehow.com/how_5093541_summer-jobs-students.html)

They have received a few negative reviews (like http://columbus.citysearch.com/profile/37332794/columbus_oh/groovejob_com.html)
