Delta Airlines -- Gogo In Flight Internet Access

I was traveling with my family for Thanksgiving.  My daughter was upset that we were not traveling on Jetblue because she loves the television.  I love it as well since she watches television and does not start asking are we there yet?  We chose not to fly on Jetblue because their cost was significantly higher than Delta.

While we were waiting to board the plane, Delta was promoting their Onboard Wi-Fi Service.  At that point, my daughter's eyes lit up.  Once we hit 10,000 feet, she took out her Macbook and started video chatting with her friends.  At one point, one of her friends did not believe that we were winging our way to Florida.  She had to show the airplane interior.

When I asked her whether she preferred the television or internet access.  She did not hesitate to say that she loved the Gogo service  With this she can watch videos on Hulu or YouTube and chat with her friends.

I found this development to be one of the wonders of technology.  In the past you were isolated on the plane from the world and friends.  Now you can stay connected.  I hope people will not get too annoying with talking to friends like what happens in elevators.
