Airline Etiquette

I had a conference in Las Vegas that was extended due to the weather in New York.  As a result, I was on a redeye back to New York.  It turns that in the row in front of me was a baby who cried from the moment we took off until the moment we landed.  Typically, people try to sleep during redeye flights.  For those of us who were seated near this crying people, we were unable to sleep and were exhausted when we reached our destination.

I believe that babies should not fly on a redeye out of respect for the other passengers.  It is one thing to have a baby crying on a daytime flight but it is quite another on a flight in which you are trying to get a little sleep.  So parents, please book your flights during the day if you are traveling with your young children.
